The GSB offers its flagship programme the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, the Management Development Programme (MDP) and the Business Development Program (BDP). Other programmes include customized short courses for companies and soon to be released, the New Managers Programme (NMP).
The GSB is served by four full time academics and seven part-time academics who work in industry. This combination of academics and practitioners ensures a perfect blend of theory and practice which enhances the learning experience. The School is supported by six administrative staff who ensure that all administration runs on auto-pilot.
The GSB is located on the Westville Campus of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, 8 kilometres away from the Durban and Pinetown CBDs. Located within an environmental conservancy, the Westville Campus combines state of the art infrastructure with beautiful natural surroundings. The GSB blends into the rich cultural and economic tapestry of the province by being involved in the activities of the city and supporting the initiatives of the province.
